Kayliegh Kooks Chocolate Fudge Brownies!!!!


browniesOkay, so comfort food time and these brownies are my all time comfort food. These are for like bad times, my parents always know if I am making these brownies then I am not happy at all! However you don't want to be watching your waist line if your eating these because they will go straight to your waist, bum, stomach.... Well everywhere really..... But they are worth it :-D

For theses brownies you will need:

For the Cake: 

  • 4 oz. Self-Raising Flour

  • 1/4 Level Teaspoon Salt

  • 1.5 oz Cocoa Powder

  • 4 oz Butter

  • 4 oz Soft Brown Sugar

  • 2 Eggs Blended

  • 1 Tablespoon Milk

For the Icing:

  • 1 1/2 oz Butter

  • 1 oz Cocoa Powder

  • 3 Tablespoon Condensed Milk

  • 4 oz Icing Sugar

Preparation Time: 15 mins.

Cooking Time: 35 mins.

Oven Setting: Gas Mark 5.



Grease an oblong tin about 11x7 inches and 1 inch deep and preheat your oven.

Sieve the flour, salt and cocoa in one bowl.

In another bowl beat the butter and sugar until they are light and creamy.

Add eggs to the butter and sugar a little at a time, beating well after each addition.

Fold the sieved ingredients into the mixture along with the milk.

Mix well and turn into the tin.

Bake in the oven for 35 mins until the center of the sponge springs back when lightly pressed.

Allow to cool in the tin.


Melt the butter for the icing in a pan.

Add the cocoa for the icing and mix.

Cook over a low heat for 1 min.

Remove from the heat and add the condensed milk and icing sugar.

Mix the mixture thoroughly.

Spread over the cake in the tin and leave it to set.

This should make aprox. 15 pieces.
